White House: Trump intends to nominate a replacement for Koegler at the Federal Reserve within 48 hours
Washington – US President Donald Trump announced Sunday evening that he intends to reveal a new nominee for membership in the Federal Reserve Board within the next two days, following the resignation of member Adriana Kuegler last Friday.
Trump told reporters at the White House:
"We will work quickly to fill this sensitive position, and I will announce the appropriate candidate within 48 hours at the most. It is important that we restore stability and confidence to the Federal Reserve."
