Oil prices rose on Thursday, after a two-day slide, benefiting from data showing a larger-than-expected drop in U.S. crude inventories, which restored some support to prices despite continued concerns about a global supply glut.
Brent crude futures rose by nearly 0.6% to around $60.3 a barrel, while US crude futures rose at the same pace to around $56.3 a barrel, amid traders' buying interest after recent declines.
